- Take turns reading a page aloud: you read one, your child reads the next.
- Read a short sentence in small groups of words, then read it again a little smoother.
- Read a line of a story with feeling: happy, worried or surprised. Guess which one.
- When a sentence does not make sense, stop together and read it again slowly.
